Everybody’s been knitting the Seascape Stole, including me. As I had to knit it in really laceweighty yarn, it took forever
It was a present for my mother’s 70 year birthday, and she really liked it. I chose the seascape because she lives in Scheveningen and the colour because it suits her.
studies: I have to change a LOT in mijn products for my studies, so next six weeks are going to be work-work-work untill I just about drop.
But first: I’ve allowed myself to rest during Easter, as I’m sóóó tired from sleeping really badly during the last week or so (stress from studies + that darn light saving time-shift = out of sleeping rhythm)
I just casually ordered a new washing machine over the phone (after an hour or two of desk and field research)
No housewife could do without it. Seriously, women's lib owes a lot to washers.
Hilmer Hassig went to my high school for about two months in 1981 before Scatterbrain really took off. I remember him as a really nice, friendly & smiling guy. Who by the way more or less introduced me to new wave in stead of all the hippie music I’d been listening to untill then. And I only found out this Saturday (I don’t really follow Danish news) that he’d been run over and killed by a taxi last november.
O, I’ve actually won something!! I entered the birthday draw on My Funny Eye’s blog - and actually won her snood!
So excited!!! My heart leapt up etc.!
This is so great, because I read/watch her blog quite a lot and with a lot of pleasure!!
